22 to 1 Tom's International Tips
Type: OPEN Fastest Time: 1:08.34 All Too Royal 26 Dec 2019 OPEN SOT:G Track Condition: Rain (Heavy 8) Local Time Race Off: 4:20p. Central Time: about 1:20am. 15 hours different.
2 – Virdine - Winner on heavy going before, likes the distance and ran a weird last out because he ran the fastest opening 200m and then ran the fastest final but very ordinary time in the middle of the race. Coming to form?
9 - The Astrologist – won last 2 races in open company now moves up and tries group 3 horses. He's never at this level but with the wins, why not give it a shot. He has 3 wins at this distance and has placed running on heavy surface but has won on soft going. Based on current form, he should make a good account of himself here.
3 - Order of Command – first out in 3 months, ran wide with no cover. The stewards spoke to the jockey that the horse will benefit from this race. The Vet check found nothing wrong. His race before the layoff was a dud. Because he has run in group company with positive results. Win? Not sure. But I do see a placing for this horse.

Sky Bet Dash Handicap Cl2 (3yo+ 0-105) 6f for horses rated 0 to 105 (special consideration for horses rated 106 and 107).
6 – Golden Apollo – Draw 14 – Rating: 88 - he's last 2 runs are good overall. A second and a third. He weight off which should help. He races in the rear of the field, moves between the 1 and 2 furlong mark and has been finishing but not enough. Outside draw will help too.
3 – Draw 13 - Streamline – Rating: 96 – a group 3 winner and 3 other wins at the class 2 level. Last race was better effort with a hood on and raced on the far side. He finished second with that group. Lightly races 4-year-old appears to be going in the right direction.
5 – Typhoon Ten – Draw 5 – Rating: 88 – last out at Newmarket, he stumbled badly out of the gate. The pulled him up and he was at the rear of the field. Then he ran ok, moving at the 3 furlong maker, then chasing the leaders at 2 furlongs and then nothing left. Getting weight off, he should have a good chance here for a placing.
Sky Bet York Stakes (Group 2) Cl1 (3yo+) 1m2½ Track Condition: Good to Firm
1 – Armory – Draw 3 - top weight here ran against Love last out and finished third with an ok effort. He sat behind and move a bit with 2 furlongs to go but wasn't getting to the top 2. Both group 1 winners. The race before he won in France a group 2 race at the same distance as today. I think this is the right spot for him to get second win of the year.
5 – Mohaafeth – Draw 2 - won last time out at Royal Ascot but hampered Roman Empire at the end of the race. The stewards ruled that the other horse was not going to win the race. In this country, he would have been disqualified. Four wins in a row at class 5 to group 3 races, steps up here and good enough to beat the rest of the field.
3 – Juan Elcano – Draw 4 – won a listed race at Royal Ascot at 14-1. He's placed once in a group race and only has 2 wins from 9 starts. This is a move up again and should be able to beat the rest for a placing.
Moet & Chandon International Stakes (Heritage Handicap) Cl2 (3yo+) 7f
2 - Danyah – Draw 4 - in form with 2 seconds at Royal Ascot and Newbury. Raced in the group of 17 and never settled in the race. Try again at 7 furlongs could be just the trick. He has been head strong in other races too. He changes jockey to William Buick and maybe this time they can get a hold of him and get the best out of him
12 - Cliffs Of Capri – Draw 21- in last, he ran well in the last furlong. Coming to form? He has 21 starts at 7 furlongs and 4 wins and 9 places. 3 starts this year, nothing yet. In the last race, he raced on the far side and was the best of the group. The comment "deserves plenty of credit" is interesting.
5 – Shine So Bright – Draw 6 – He's been running against better horse in last 4 races and best he can do is fourth. Last race, issues at the start and run on in the final furlong. At 7 furlongs, he has 10 starts with 2 wins and 3 places. I think he can hit the board with the right trip. His wins have come on good to firm and good surfaces.

Princess Margaret Keeneland Stakes (Group 3) Cl1 (2yo) 6f
10 - System – Draw 11 - first start was in class 4 novice and got caught and pass by. Then placed in a listed race at Newmarket with a 13-day turnaround, she wins. Very strong finish. She got a lot out of the first race. Nice price too, 22-1. The breeding on the dam side says sprinter. The sire was a top miler. Some special? Strong favorite here.
7 - Nazanin – Draw 1 - she's a sprinter, at least by the dam side. The offspring have never won past 6 furlongs. Well, she's won at 6 furlongs at first asking and this is 6 furlongs. She broke strong and did what she needed to do to win. Can't ask anything more than that. I don't like the draw.
3 - Delmona – Draw 2 - wins at Bath first out and she was left at the starting gate. Not bad. Tried Newmarket next out, fifth beaten by System and Desert Dreamer but keep up with the leaders but in the final part of the race hung left and then hung right. Running green in that effort behind or was the jockey looking for room to go? Last race, made headway then carried right and kept on got third in the final strides. She can place again here.

King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) Cl1 (3yo+) 1m3f211y
3 - Love – Draw 6 - won at Royal Ascot in front running style. Who did she beat? A Breeders Cup winner (Aidarya running at Goodwood next week) and a horse who just won in France (Broome). Next race on the way to the Arc (or the Breeders Cup?). They're both in this race. As game as they come in the final part of the race. Impressive.
4 - Wonderful Tonight – Draw 3 great effort first out in group 2 vs Broome. Looked really good to me. With the Arc being the owner's goal, this would be a big race to go forward and establish her as one of the best mares in Europe. In the past, she faced fillies only (as a 2 and 3 year old), one of them being a Breeders Cup winner. First race this year, she beat males. She's already had success in France, let's see if she can do it here.
5 – Adayar – Draw 4 – great run in the Epsom Derby winning by open lengths. This Godolphin runner only adds to the list of runners that are winning group or grade 1 races this year. I think he is still learning with only 5 races but there appears to be a lot more to come. Win here, no I don't think he can, but the Epsom Derby has 2 other runners winning next out Hurricane Lane win 2 group 1's lately. Bolshoi Ballet won a grade 1 at Belmont.
