ALWAYS SUNSHINE — Monday, August 16th, 2021 @ Delaware Park, Race 6.

Post Time is 3:45 PM ET.

Radar Insight: ALWAYS SUNSHINE has never missed the board in five at Delaware and has finished in the money 21 of 27 at the distance.

Stonehenge LLC's ALWAYS SUNSHINE breaks from the two hole for trainer Edward T Allard, with a morning-line odds of 2-1. The ultra-consistent, 9-year-old gelding by WEST ACRE brings class and consistency to the table. His top Speed Rating towers over the 2nd and 3rd favorite's. As our Radar Insight mentions, he's finished in the top three in 21 of 27 starts at the distance. Versatility is also in his arsenal; he can clear the lead early on, as he did two starts back while fishing second, or, he can lay off the pace and wear his foes down, as demonstrated by his last race which he won. Jockey Carol Cedeno currently wins at an 18% rate and has three wins and two thirds from five rides aboard this horse.

OUR CARAVAN —  Monday, August 16th, 2021 @ Finger Lakes, Race 4.

Post Time is 2:37 PM ET.

Radar Insight: OUR CARAVAN rides the 25% winning rail in his third start off the bench, another 25% winner trainer/owner Ferraro.

Owner and trainer Michael S. Ferraro's OUR CARAVAN breaks from the rail with a morning-line odds of 9-5 against this field of eight. He should love the way the race is set up to unfold. Half the field are "need-the-lead" types, while this 10-year-old gelding by DAAHER likes to make a big late run. He's put together two impressive wins against this level. His trainer converts 25-26% of the time with horses making a third start off their layoff. Moreover, he owns an impressive Late Speed figure relative to this field, not to mention he's used it against tougher foes than what his rivals on average previously faced. Regular rider Andre S. Worrie is back on the saddle.
