Spendthrift has announced today that KNOWN AGENDA, winner of the Florida Derby (G1), has retired from racing and will be added to their 2022 stallion roster.

KNOWN AGENDA, a CURLIN son, will stand for $10,000 S&N and will be offered through the "Share the Upside" program on a limited basis. Breeders can make an appointment for inspections.

General manager, Ned Toffey said "Any time you can add a Florida Derby winner by CURLIN with his looks and pedigree, you jump at the opportunity. KNOWN AGENDA ticks an awful lot of boxes, and the Florida Derby has produced a lot of very good sires, especially in recent history."

KNOWN AGENDA is the first homebred for Vinnie Viola's St. Elias Stables to go to stud. He is out of a G1 winning mare in BYAMA and by G1 winning stallion and is a G1 winner himself.

KNOWN AGENDA retires with lifetime earnings of $641,700 and was trained by Todd Pletcher. He is the first Florida Derby winner for CURLIN. He won the Florida Derby by 2 ¾ lengths.
