It's a beautiful morning in Lexington! Currently 56 degrees and sunny with a high of 75 expected. The track is listed as fast and the turf is good. Here are the latest changes:

On the undercard, Race #3 Qatar Fort Springs, #3 ARTIES PRINCESS and #11 REGAL BEAUTY have been scratched. 

In the Filly & Mare Sprint - #4 INTHEMIDSTOFBIZ is scratched.

In the Sprint, #14 VEKOMA is scratched. The Also Eligible LASTING LEGACY will run. 

In the Mile, #9 ONE MASTER (GB) is scratched and ORDER OF AUSTRALIA (IRE) will run with jockey Pierre-Charles Boudot aboard.

In the Turf, #3 TARNAWA (IRE) has a jockey change from Christophe Soumillon to Colin Keane.

$125,000 Perryville Stakes

It was all NASHVILLE in the 6 furlong Perryville Stakes. He went gate to wire holding a 10-12 length lead as they came around the final turn. Ricardo Santana never had to ask for anything, he ran with ease, setting a track record with a final time of 1:07.89. Fractions were :21.54, :43.87 and :55.61. WILD WES narrowed the lead a bit for second place followed by LITTLE MENACE. NASHVILLE is trained by Steven Asmussen and owned by CHC Inc. and WinStar Farm, LLC. 

$150,000 Lafayette Stakes Presented by Keeneland Select

EDGEMONT ROAD set the pace followed by ENGAGED and ABSOLUTELY AIDEN. TRUE TIMBER on the far outside. SLEEPY EYES TODD trailed in last. As they come around the far turn, EDGEMONT ROAD continues to lead. As the field rounded the turn to the stretch, ABSOLUTELY AIDEN went down with DINAR and STRIKE THAT also taking a stumble. In the final furlong, SLEEPY EYES TODD charged up the inside to win followed by TRUE TIMBER and EDGEMONT ROAD. All riders have walked off the track under their own power after the accident. No action was taken and no change was made by the officials after the inquiry. ABSOLUTELY AIDEN was vanned off, but the other two horses walked off on their own. 

SLEEPY EYES TODD is trained by Miguel Silva and was ridden by Joel Rosario. He is owned by Thumbs Up Racing, LLC.

Edited: We are sad to report that ABSOLUTELY AIDEN has been euthanized following his breakdown in the Lafayette Stakes. Condolences to the connections. 

$125,000 Qatar Fort Springs Stakes

RISING SEAS took the early lead with MISS T TOO settling in third. MERNEITH is wide in the far turn and FAIR MAIDEN moves up to the inside. WICKED WHISPER was last in ninth. AIN'T NO ELMERS moves to the front with RISING SEAS. MERNEITH tries to pick up the leaders from the outside. MOTIVATED SELLER moves to second while RISING SEAS leads. MERNEITH runs from the outside and runs with RISING SEAS to the wire. MERNEITH takes it by a neck, followed by MOTIVATED SELLER and RISING SEAS falls back to third. 

$1 Million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint

SERENGETTI EMPRESS and GAMINE go to the front as expected. SE runs ahead slightly on the outside with GAMINE settling to second followed by SPEECH. VENETIAN HARBOR moves up to second late in the backstretch. Around the turn, SERENGETTI EMPRESS is chased by GAMINE. Down the stretch SCONSIN is third. GAMINE pulls ahead to widen the lead and takes the win with a track record of 1:20.20. The fractions were blistering fast at :21.77, :44.27 and 1:07.98. SERENGETTI EMPRESS will retire with a second place and BELL'S THE ONE did rally from off the pace but ended up in third. SCONSIN and COME DANCING were fourth and fifth respectively. 

The INTO MISCHIEF filly, GAMINE, picks up her third Grade 1 this year. She is trained by Bob Baffert and owned by Michael Lund Peterson. She was so fast, Johnny Velazquez got shook up a bit out of the gate, but he was able to overcome the sharp break and rode her out well to victory.

$1 Million Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint

INTO MYSTIC goes to the lead followed by WILDMAN JACK and EXTRAVAGANT KID. Into the far turn, INTO MYSTIC continues to lead. GOT STORMY follows in fifth. Down the stretch GLASS SLIPPERS (GB) is coming through on the rail and GOT STORMY is on the outside. GLASS SLIPPERS (GB) gets to the front and just ahead of WET YOUR WHISTLE, who rallied late. An excellent ride by Tom Eaves. LEINSTER pulls out third followed by EXTRAVAGANT KID and GOT STORMY. 

GLASS SLIPPERS (GB) is owned by Bearstone Stud Limited and trained by Kevin Ryan.

$1 Million Big Ass Fans Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile

KNICKS GO to the lead, SS and Art follow. COMPLEXITY moves up to the outside in second. Art collector in third. KNICKS GO continues to lead by a head. OWENDALE trails in last. Aroud the far turn KNICKS GO and COMPLEXITY continue to lead. At the top of the stretch KNICKS GO contines his lead with COMPLEXITY. JESUS' TEAM runs late to catch up with SHARP SAMURAI. KNICKS GO moved away from the field to secure the win! 

Another track record for the day! This track is blistering fast. Fractions by KNICKS GO were :21.98, :44.40 and a final time of 1:33.85. This is the third Breeders' Cup win for Brad Cox Racing this weekend.

$2 Million Maker's Mark Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf

STARSHIP JUBILEE unseated her jockey coming out of the gates. MEAN MARY goes to the lead followed by RUSHING FALL. CAYENNE PEPPER takes the lead into the backstretch. MEAN MARY follows her with RUSHING FALL following. MEAN MARY retakes the lead coming to the final turn. MEAN MARY and RUSHING fall come down the stretch. AUDARYA tries to join HARVEY'S LITTLE GOIL rushing late. The French bred filly AUDARYA got up just in time to steal the win from RUSHING FALL. HARVEY'S LITTLE GOIL finished third followed by LADY PRANCEALOT (IRE) and CIVIL UNION. A fourth track record for the day with a 1:52.72 final time.

$2 Million Breeders' Cup Sprint

JASPER PRINCE went to the front with EMPIRE OF GOLD second. Around the second EMPIRE GOLD on the outside. At the top of the stretch, CZ ROCKETTE moves up but WHITMORE is striding forward for the lead! WHITMORE and Irad Ortiz Jr win in 1:08.61. The 7 year old wins it in his fourth try at the Breeders' Cup Sprint! The fractions were :21.64, :44.66 and :56.43. In second was CZ Rocket and FIRENZE FIRE in third. 

WHITMORE is trained by Ron Moquett and owned by Robert V. LaPenta, Southern Springs Stables and Head of Plains Partners, LLC.

$2 Million FanDuel Breeders' Cup Mile Presented by PDJF

HALLADAY goes out for the opening lead with FACTOR THIS. KAMEKO is down in third on the inside. LOPE Y FERNANDEZ is middle of the pack saving ground. HALLADAY leads by a length of FACTOR THIS. Coming into the far turn, HALLADAY contines to lead but here comes ORDER OF AUSTRALIA. ORDER OF AUSTRALIA takes the lead to make a huge upset at 73-1! CIRCUS MAXIMUS holds onto second and LOPE Y FERNANDEZ finishes third. Three Irish horses hit the board with fractions of :23.48, :46.97 and a final time of 1:33.73. 

$2 Million Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff

LADY KATE had a narrow lead over HARVEST MOON in second and OLLIE'S CANDY in third. MONOMOY GIRL settled midpack and MONOMOY GIRL. SWISS SKYDIVER near the back. HARVEST MOON took the lead in backstretch followed by LADY KATE. SWISS SKYDIVER is on the rail six lengths off the lead. Coming into the turn, MONOMOY GIRL moves up from fourth. HARVEST MOON is the leader with a quarter mile to go. SWISS SKYDIVER is looking for room on the rail. MONOMOY GIRL got the jump and leads in the final furlong. SWISS SKYDIVER fourth. MONOMOY GIRL takes the win by two lengths! VALIANCE got up for second and DUNBAR ROAD made a late move to make it to third. HARVEST MOON and CE CE finished fourth and fifth respectively. SWISS SKYDIVER fell back to sixth.

MONOMOY GIRL's connections declared prior to the race that this would be her last start, but nothing is set in stone. She was just fractions of a second from breaking a track record. MONOMOY GIRL is trained by Brad Cox and owned by Michael Dubb, Monomoy Stables, LLC, The Elkstone Group, LLC and Bethlehem Stables, LLC. She was ridden by Florent Geroux. This was her second Distaff win and her seventh Grade 1 win. The mare will be sold at the Keeneland sale.

$4 Million Longines Breeders' Cup Turf

CHANNEL MAKER gets the early lead with UNITED and RED KING close. MAGICAL between horses but close. MOGUL is 10th and last at the first turn. CHANNEL MAKER led by a length and a half. TARNAWA and MOGUL at the back. CHANNEL MAKER is the leader and ARKLOW sits in third. On the backstretch after the second turn, CHANNEL MAKER continued to lead with UNITED second and RED KING. ARKLOW looked for running room with MAGICAL between horses in fifth. MOGUL worked through some traffic at the turn. CHANNEL MAKER opened up by two and a half lengths coming on the last turn. MAGICAL moves up on the inside. CHANNEL MAKER leading, but here comes MAGICAL and TARNAWA. TARNAWA catches CHANNEL MAKER to take the win. MAGICAL took second with CHANNEL MAKER in third.

$6 Million Breeders' Cup Classic

AUTHENTIC goes to the front at the break and holds the lead by two lengths well into the backstretch. IMPROBABLE runs midpack. MAXIMUM SECURITY behind Authentic. GLOBAL CAMPAIGN starts to move up. Entering the final turn, AUTHENTIC contines to lead. GLOBAL CAMPAIGN moves to second and IMPROBABLE moves to third. TIZ THE LAW is sixth from the front. IMRPOBABLE on the outside trying to chase AUTHENTIC. AUTHENTIC holds on under pressure of IMPROBABLE but AUTHENTIC kicks on. AUTHENTIC wins the Breeders's Cup Classic!
