LOVESTRUCK broke sharply from the second post and settled behind the pacesetter, the 20-1 BIG TIME LADY through opening fractions of :24.05 and :50.50. At the turn from home, BIG TIME LADY stayed on the inside while LOVESTRUCK pressed and took the lead from the outside. INVINCIBLE GAL made a move near the rail, but LOVESTRUCK repelled the challenge and hit the wire with a final time of 1:47.14.

LOVESTRUCK was piloted by Junior Alvarado as the even-money favorite. The gray filly is a Kentucky-bred by TAPIT, out of the MR. PROSPECTOR mare LOVE STYLE. She improved her record to two wins with lifetime earnings of $94,600. She is trained by Bill Mott and owned and bred by Godolphin.

INVINCIBLE GAL finished second. The filly last raced in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf where she placed 11th. BIG TIME LADY finished third three and three-quarters length back.
