Chad Brown announced via Twitter that NEWSPAPEROFRECORD, owned by Klaravich Stables, and the winner of the 2018 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T) has been retired, sold privately, and will go to GALILEO next year.

As a two-year-old filly, NEWSPAPEROFRECORD was unstoppable. She won all three of her starts by 6 ½ lengths or more. Outside of her Breeders' Cup win, she also won the Miss Grillo Stakes (G2T).

As a three-year-old, she didn't shine as bright with a second in the Edgewood Stakes (G3T) and the Wonder Again Stakes (G3T). As a four-year-old, she won the International Stakes (G3T) and Just a Game Stakes (G1T). She finished second in the Longines Churchill Distaff Turf Mile Stakes (G2T) and a third in the First Lady Stakes at Keeneland.

The mare's new owner has not been named, but GALILEO stands at Coolmore Stud in Ireland.
