DORTMUND, the son of BIG BROWN, has been sold to South Korea interests to stand stud. The stallion who is owned by Kareem Shah, Inc. prior to the sale, was standing at Bonita Farm and was trained by both Bob Baffert and Art Sherman throughout his career.

The announcement of his sale came through the Bonita Farm Facebook page, stating "As many have heard, DORTMUND has been sold to South Korea. To clear up any confusion, Bonita Farm had no hand in his sale. Bonita Farm never had any ownership of DORTMUND but instead acted as a boarding facility for his breeding career."

DORTMUND was a third place finisher in the Kentucky Derby in 2015 and participated in the 2016 Las Vegas Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. He won both the grade 1 Los Alamitos Futurity and Santa Anita Derby.
