We all have one, a nemesis track. You know the one, the track that no matter what you do, you struggle to get things in the right order. Delta Downs was Horse Racing Radar's nemesis since we last met in Radar Review.

Our RADAR handicappers selected 16 horses that met our highest probability criteria. Twelve (75%) hit the board and finished in the money. Easy math says four ran out and didn't cash a top-three check. Three of the four to miss ran at The Big Easy track. Depending on how you look at it, Radarplayers might want to manage Delta picks differently or you can live by the gambler's fallacy that our Delta picks are due!

Everywhere else, 12 of 13 RADAR choices hit the tape in the first three. Winners were a little difficult to come by with three of the 16 taking the checkered flag.

·         REED KAN wired the field in a $40,000 Claiming Race at Aqueduct on the 15th, paying $5.50 for the win.

·         SPEAK TO ME broke her maiden in her third try at Fair Grounds on the 17th.

·         SHE'S SO PRETTY won her sixth race in 12 efforts, winning at Golden Gate on the 22nd.

It was a light Win-wise, but we should have a bounce back week. Since Horse Racing Radar's launch, nearly 38% of our RADAR horses made their way into the winners' circle. And we weren't all that far from a bang-up week, another four finished second. Those are strong numbers for exacta players with a lucky seven of the 16 coming home in the top two.

·         TICO THUNDER ran second in Mahoning Valley's sixth race on the 25th. The seven-year-old was the runner-up to the second favorite. The $2 exacta paid $49.80.

·         AARON'S TAP was another to take silver in Race three at Charles Town on the 20th. The $2 exacta paid $37.80.

Yes, 75% in the money is a strong number for the week, but it's not surprising as 76% of our RADAR choices finished first, second or third since our inception. We'll put or RADAR skills to the test once again in the week ahead. We already have five RADAR horses scheduled to run in the next two-days. Look for our next report on the 3rd of February.
