Weather Forces Oaklawn to Reschedule Stakes Races Again

Due to below zero temperatures and large amounts of snowfall, Oaklawn has been forced to cancel all racing Thursday - Sunday, Februrary 18th-21st. As a result of this closure, they have had to reschedule the Kentucky Derby qualifying races again. 

The $250,000 Bayakoa (G3), $600,000 Razorback (G3) and the $750,000 Southwest (G3) will now be moved to February 27th. 

ESSENTIAL QUALITY and MONOMOY GIRL were both scheduled to make their 2021 debuts in the Southwest and Bayakoa respectively. Additional stakes races have also been postponed for another weekend.
