ESTILO TALENTOSO from way out of it flew to get second. CLUB CAR ran third. The final time for the seven furlongs on dirt was 1:23.16.

The $250K General George Stakes was won by SHARE THE RIDE, ridden by Victor Carrasco, for trainer Miguel Penaloza, for owner Silvino Ramirez — overcoming a difficult rail trip on the inside of a 19-1 shot, and then powering home in the stretch for a comfortable win. TIZ MANDATE tried to make a race of it late but was second best. KENNY HAD A NOTION ran third. The final time for the one mile on the dirt was 1:37.02 on a fast track.

The $100K John B. Campbell Stakes was won by BANKIT, ridden by Sheldon Russell, trained by Steve Asmussen, owned by Winchell Thoroughbreds LLC and Willis Horton Racing LLC — in an off-the-pace victory where he circled the field by the top of the stretch, and drew off to win comfortably. He won by almost two lengths with GALERIO in second, CORDMAKER finishing third. The final time for the one mile and one sixteenth race on the dirt was 1:42.07.
