Here's up to date information in case you're interested in attending the first leg of the Triple Crown, the Kentucky Derby, scheduled for Saturday, May 1st, 2021.

As of now, Churchill Downs must limit the number of reserved seats to 40-50% capacity.

Regarding priorities, they also state that guests with personal licenses, memberships, annual tickets, and those who were refunded in 2020 will have rights to first refusal.

Kentucky Derby tickets can be bought in several ways. As individual, one-time tickets, or, multi-year tickets. Large groups can also secure tickets for corporate hospitality.

Specifically there are the following ticket options:

  • General Admission

  • Reserved Outdoor Seating

  • Outdoor Seating with Hospitality

  • All-inclusive Dining

  • Corporate Hospitality

  • Derby Experiences Ticket Packages

Churchill Downs offers information for planning your visit — addressing concerns for attire, prohibited items, transportation, festivals, and much more. On the subject of what to wear, they state that the use of protective face covering will be required by all personal guests. They also offer ideas for women for choosing their dress, shoes, accessories, jewelry, bags and hats. Men are given inspiration all the same, offering ideas for what type of pants, shirts, jacket and necktie that might be desirable to wear.

Churchill Downs is also promoting their Racing App to make the festivities more enjoyable! To enhance your day at the track, the app lets you view races and place bets through your phone. It provides detailed directions, helps you find your seats or nearby restrooms better, and gives you direct access to Kentucky Derby News.
