The Kentucky Derby probable appeared to have a good workout Saturday morning as he prepped for the Santa Anita Derby next month, but has suffered an injury. He clocked six furlongs at Santa Anita in 1:14.4, working handily. This was the fastest time of his six workouts over that distance.
Trainer Bob Baffert told the Daily Racing Form that "He came back to the barn after the work and was off when he turned."
