Oaklawn has announced that guests can now book their grandstand seating as well as general admission spots for the apron for all race days for the remainder of the season. There is a limit of 6 seats per person per day. There will be no walk up sales. This also eliminates the phone reservations that were such a nightmare at the start of the season. The phone lines were busy for hours upon hours leaving potential customers frustrated. Tickets can now be booked online here.
Plus, Oaklawn is now taking reservations for their new hotel! Rooms include three trackside options, leaving guests with the best view in the house. One bedroom king suites, king studio suites, deluxe king rooms and deluxe double queen rooms are available overlooking the racetrack. Non-trackside options include king studio suites, deluxe king rooms and deluxe double queen rooms. Prices range from $180 and up to $350 depending on the type of room. Guests can begin booking the hotel for next week, starting April 14th, 2021. Book your room here.
If you're wondering what the view looks like, trainer Ron Moquette gave a sneak peek via Twitter yesterday. Some Facebook users have commented that Oaklawn should name the hotel The Whitmore. Sounds like a good idea to us!
