Bob Baffert confirmed in a text to Churchill officials Saturday morning "Concert out. Wait for Preakness." The colt, a homebred owned by Gary and Mary West, finished third in the Arkansas Derby (G1) April 10th. The colt was ranked ninth on the Kentucky Derby leaderboard with 70 points. After the disappointing finish, Baffert said that he would wait to make a decision on the Derby but that the colt would ship to Churchill, which he did earlier this week.

With CONCERT TOUR out of the race, this opens up another spot in the 20 horse field which will go to O BESOS. O BESOS finished fourth in the Risen Star Stakes (G2) and third in the Louisiana Derby (G2). He is owned by bernard Racing, Tagg Team Racing and West Point Thoroughbreds.
