Tiz the Law to Shuttle to Chile

TIZ THE LAW, a first year sire and winner of the Belmont Stakes, will shuttle to Haras Paso Nevado in Chile after the Northern Hemisphere breeding season. 


Ashford Stud has also shipped freshman sires PRACTICAL JOKE and CLASSIC EMPIRE. Both sires will remain in Chile and will not be returning this year. 


TIZ THE LAW won the Grade 1 Champagne Stakes in his second lifetime start at two. At three, he won the Florida Derby (G1), Belmont Stakes (G1) and Travers Stakes (G1). He finished second in the Kentucky Derby (G1) behind AUTHENTIC. He entered stud at Ashford with the $40,000 fee.
