There's no denying that after the Kentucky Derby and the Keeneland September yearling sale, INTO MISCHIEF is hot! Spendthrift just announced that is 2021 stud fee will be $225,000. Here's why that's easily justified.

INTO MISCHIEF has held the top spot on the North American general leaving sire standings since 2019 and continues to hold that top spot as of October. His current northern hemisphere project in earnings is more than $5.1 million ahead of TAPIT at $13.7 million. He has 154 winners and 26 black-type winners. That's just as of right now. He boasts 80 black-type winners all time. Thirty-three of those are graded winners and four are champions. Collectively, his offspring have earned nearly $76 million.

At the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, he had five yearlings sell for $1 million or more. Twenty-three yearlings sold for over $500,000. All 57 sold for a combined $25,401,000. That's an average pf $445,632.

Then, of course, are his offspring making the headlines now. AUTHENTIC is leading the ranks with all time earnings of $3,040,000. He not only one the Kentucky Derby and placed second by a nose in an incredible battle in the Preakness, but he won the Haskell as well. He placed second in the Santa Anita Derby and won the G2 San Felipe Stakes and G3 Sham Stakes.

Then there's GAMINE. The filly was third in tough company at the Kentucky Oaks, but she'd already proven herself with two Grade 1 wins in the Longines Test and Acorn Stakes. That's not to menton his other top earners that have competed at the upper levels like OWENDALE, FRANK'S ROCKETTE, MIA MISCHIEF, and MUTASSABEQ.
