The Deer Valley section of Phoenix, Arizona, is home to Turf Paradise, one of America's best-known racetracks for Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses.

Off-track betting takes place inside the spacious Clubhouse, with 1000 available seats. More than 60 different tracks have their races simulcast at Turf Paradise throughout the year, with as many as 28 different tracks in use on a single day. The full range of racing materials is available in the Clubhouse, where there are 80 betting carrels with private monitors in addition to the double banks of 14 large screen televisions. During summer simulcasts, there is no charge for OTB seating. Lunch may also be purchased.

Turf Paradise offers a five-level Grandstand for race viewing in its venue that includes a family picnic area. The newest addition to the track is the Party on the Rail, a seating area near the finish line with two Tiki style bars that can be reserved for groups.

Turf will now race its 84-day race meet Monday thru Friday instead of Saturday thru Wednesday. The one exception will be closing day, Kentucky Derby Saturday, May 1. The meet will run from Jan. 4 thru May 1.
