Just 20 minutes from downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Cherokee Nation Will Rogers Downs is a Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred racetrack attached to a gaming complex. The annual fall meet of the track begins the first Friday of September and continues through the first week of November. The meet begins with Appaloosa, Paint, and Quarter horse races on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

An ample, covered grandstand seating 2700 guests is adjacent to the one-mile track. Also adjoining the track area is a casino which, like the racetrack, is operated by the Cherokee nation. A live entertainment stage is part of the venue, which also serves casual dining for race fans. Off-track betting is available year-round. Future plans call for the construction of a hotel on site. In the meantime, nearby lodging is available. By going to the track website, visitors can book room reservations in Tulsa, Roland, and West Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The track also hosts a KOA campground.

The track is affiliated with the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association, the Oklahoma Horse Racing Association, and the Thoroughbred Racing Association of Oklahoma. Ongoing information about race entries, recent workouts, and result charts are available on the Will Rogers Downs website.
